The Western Hockey League website unintentionally cheated Americans defenseman Brock Sutherland of his goal late in the third period against the Vancouver Giants on Saturday.

Sunday, it rightly credited the second-year defenseman with his second goal of the season.

When Brock scored the goal, Craig West made the call on the radio, but the goal, when announced, was given to Tyler Schmidt. Westy said they'd have to change that. It just took a day.

When I don't attend the game, and in this economy paying for Internet viewing is not in the Herald budget, I have to go with the official game sheet, which read: TC Schmidt (6) (Feser, Prokop), 14:31.

It's nice that Brock got his goal, but in the end, I don't think he would have cared who got credit as long as they won the game.
