Family pancake breakfasts will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sunday and March 7 at the Kennewick Senior Center. The breakfast includes scrambled eggs, all-you-can-eat pancakes and maple syrup, choice of ham or sausage, orange juice and coffee and berry syrup and sprinkles for kids. Entertainment is provided by Margie and Her Sidekicks Band.
Cost is $5.50 for adults under 54, $5 for seniors 55 years old and up, and $3.75 for children under 10. The fee may be paid at the door.

Seven college-bound students studying math, biology or engineering discovered they won't need to worry about paying tuition next school year.
They were among the 179 Washington State University Tri-Cities students honored at the annual Scholarship Recognition Breakfast held FridayAug. 19 at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick.
Students who received the Distinguished Scholarships for students with high academic merit, worth $8,000 to $10,000 each, were:

Community members are invited to have breakfast, between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Saturday at Applebee's, 43 Columbia Point Drive in Richland. The breakfast is $7 and includes three pancakes, two sausages and the beverage of your choice.
