YAKIMA -- Planning to go to college and not sure which school?
Yakima Valley Community College will have a college fair from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at its campus on Nob Hill Boulevard.
The fair will feature representatives from colleges across the state, including Washington State University Tri-Cities and Pullman, Yakima's Perry Technical Institute, Eastern Washington University, Central Washington University, Heritage University of Toppenish, Yakima Valley Community College, and Fashion Institute of Design and Marketing. Information will be available about application deadlines and scholarships.

A record number of students are enrolled at Washington State University this year, but there is no change in enrollment at WSU Tri-Cities.
The Richland branch campus had 1,520 students enrolled this fall -- down from the 1,548 in 2010 -- but officials said the number of full-time-equivalent students stayed the same.
So, while the actual number of students sitting in seats at WSU Tri-Cities is down slightly, those students are
taking more classes than they have in the past, explained
Dick Pratt, vice chancellor for academic affairs.

Tonight's Columbia Basin College and Walla Walla Community College basketball games have been postponed because of the weather.
CBC athletic director Scott Rogers says the Hawks' games at Wenatchee Valley tentatively have been rescheduled for Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. (women) and 4 p.m. (men).
Walla Walla Community College's games at Yakima Valley also are tentatively scheduled for Feb. 25, though times have yet to be determined.
