WENATCHEE -- Moses Lake and Wenatchee are in a two-team battle for first place after the first day of the CBBN 4A district tournament.
The Chiefs, vying for their third straight district title, lead the Panthers by a single point, 120-119, with Pasco in third place with 66 points heading into today's semifinals.
The top five placers in each weight advance to next week's Eastern Washington regional against the top three from the Greater Spokane League.
