Woman still hospitalized after Hwy. 397 rollover

By the Herald staff

A Kennewick woman remained hospitalized Sunday night after rolling her car at 4:30 p.m. Saturday on Highway 397 near Nine Canyon Road.

Linda Atanasoff, 60, was in satisfactory condition Sunday at Kadlec Regional Medical in Richland.

Something may have run in front of her car as she drove north, according to emergency officials at the accident scene. Atanasoff's car crossed the southbound lanes and left the road to the west, rolling and coming to rest on its wheels on the shoulder, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Atanasoff had to be extricated from the car by emergency officials.
