By the Herald staff

Anthropology professor and author John Bodley will speak on "Why small nations will save the world when the too big fail" at noon Tuesday at Washington State University Tri-Cities in Richland.

Bodley, regents professor of anthropology at WSU Pullman, specializes in indigenous peoples, cultural ecology and contemporary issues, a news release said. He's also written several books.

The lecture is part of WSU Tri-Cities' Liberal Arts Season of Events, which is sponsored by the Richland Arts Commission. There is no charge and the public is welcome. The event will be in the West Building Atrium.
