RICHLAND -- The Richland Hastings store told Facebook website fans Monday that Sarah Palin will be signing her new book there Sunday evening.
Store employees would not confirm the event but the store's readerboard along George Washington Way and a website posting said Palin will be there at 6 p.m.
Palin's Facebook page last week reported she would be signing copies of Going Rogue next Monday in Richland, though no location was listed.
She is expected to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with Tri-City relatives.
Patrick McBurney, chairman of the Benton County Republicans, said Monday that they've offered to organize a public event for Palin while she's here, but so far there has been no indication she will do so.
Meanwhile, Palin's book is sold out at The Bookworm stores in Kennewick and Richland and at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Kennewick. There only are audio editions left on the shelves at Kennewick's Hastings Books, but the Richland store and Costco in Kennewick still have copies.
