A Kennewick man was sentenced to one year and eight months in prison for trying to sexually abuse a teen on a sleepover at his house.
Ricardo Montoya Nungaray, 26, received the prison term for his plea in August to second-degree attempted assault with sexual motivation.
The teen reportedly woke up about 6 a.m. to find Montoya Nungaray touching her, court documents said. The girl told police that she was awake but kept her eyes closed, and that Montoya Nungaray left the room when she rolled over, documents said.
A short time later she called her parents to pick her up.
Montoya Nungaray was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
