PROSSER -- During the month of November, customers and visitors to Olsen Estates Winery in Prosser are asked to donate nonperishable food to help those in need. The food will be donated to Prosser's Jubilee Ministry Food Bank.
Everyone 21 years and older who contributes at least two items may enter a drawing for one of three prizes: bottles of merlot and riesling in a wood box, a $25 gift certificate for merchandise in the tasting room and a special reserve tasting.
Olsen Estates Winery is at 500 Merlot Drive, Prosser. Tasting room hours are

PROSSER -- Milbrandt Vineyards' Tasting Room in Prosser will hold a food drive from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 25-26 during Thanksgiving in Wine Country, an annual Wine Yakima Valley event.
Milbrandt Vineyards will accept nonperishable food items or $5 donations in lieu of regular tasting fees associated with the weekend. All contributions benefit Jubilee Ministry Food Bank of Prosser.

Tickets for the 33rd Tri-Cities Wine Festival, among the oldest wine events in the Pacific Northwest, are now available.
All events will be Nov. 4-5 at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick. The Tri-Cities Wine Society stages the festival, which is capped by the Saturday night public tasting of the wines judged in the competition. Results from the professional judging of Northwest wines are announced throughout the evening.
More than 100 wineries and 400 wines are expected to enter in the competition, and most will be poured for the public. It is Washington state's longest-running wine competition. Tickets for the public tasting are $70.
