'New Moon' release party set for Nov. 20
The New Moon Release Party is from 6 to 11 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Red Lion Hotel in Richland.
The fundraiser for the Edith Bishel Center for the Blind features an Italian feast, dancing and vendors selling Twilight memorabilia. Actors also will be dressed as Edward and Bella.
Admission is $35 for adults and $25 for students. A midnight showing of New Moon, the sequel to Twilight, will be at Regal Cinemas. Admission to the film is $10. For tickets, call 735-0699.
Oscar-winning film to be shown at Battelle
The film Man on Wire will be shown at 8 p.m. Nov. 20 in the Battelle Auditorium.
The documentary is rated PG-13 and chronicles the daring escapades of a French tightrope walker who crosses a wire between the newly-constructed World Trade Center buildings in 1974.
Harp, vocal concert planned in Hermiston
A harp and vocal concert, featuring Bronn and Katherine Journey, is at 7 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Hermiston Conference Center, 500 Harper Road in Hermiston.

Dave's Duck Roast event to benefit cancer victim
Dave's Duck Roast starts at 6 p.m. Nov. 22 at Country Gentleman's Restaurant, 9221 W. Clearwater Ave., Kennewick.
The fundraiser features a buffet dinner followed by a comedy roasting of Dave Parmeter. Parmeter, a philanthropic Kennewick businessman and Rotarian, was recently stricken with cancer of the esophagus that metastasized to his liver.

Pianoman Steve Haberman and disc jockey Jeff Phillips have a new morning radio show on KONA 610AM radio.
Saturday Morning Live with Jeff and Stevie is from 10 to 11 a.m. every Saturday.
The show will feature mostly commentary by Haberman and Phillips, as well as interviews with various performers who come to town, Haberman said.
Yakima dancer offers rumba workshop
Mary Egan from Yakima will conduct a rumba workshop Nov. 21 at First Lutheran Church, 418 N. Yelm St., Kennewick.
