2 injured in rollover crash

By Paula Horton, Herald staff writer

Two Pasco men were injured early Wednesday when the car they were in rolled multiple times as they tried to exit Interstate 82 in Pasco, the Washington State Patrol said.

Broc Gibson, 25, was driving a 1992 BMW sedan east on I-182 at Road 100 when the crash occurred, troopers said.

Gibson tried to exit at Road 100 when he drove off the ramp, causing the car to roll several times, troopers said.

Gibson was treated at Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco, while his passenger, Daniel Perez, 25, was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

Both men were wearing seat belts. The cause of the 3 a.m. crash remains under investigation, but alcohol is suspected as being a factor, troopers said.
