PENDLETON -- A Hermiston woman accused of assaulting her live-in boyfriend's 3-year-old son waived her right to a jury trial.
Angela Alarcon has been in the Umatilla County jail since a November 2007 investigation revealed the boy was starving, had severe bruising and previous skull fractures.
Five children lived in the apartment shared by Alarcon, now 29, and her boyfriend. The couple have one child together, and they each have two from previous relationships.
Alarcon's trial before Judge Garry Reynolds is scheduled to start Nov. 30.
She remains in the county jail on a $350,000 bond.
