PULLMAN -- Jason Stripling, a starting linebacker for Washington State, was suspended after being arrested early Sunday morning and charged with fourth-degree assault and obstruction of a public servant.
Stripling, 22, is a redshirt senior from Tyler, Texas. He is listed at 5-foot-11, 225 pounds.
He appeared in just two games last season after suffering a shoulder injury vs. Oklahoma State.
