Two Mid-Columbia girls soccer programs will be playing for a shot at a state title this weekend on the west side of the state.
Kamiakin travels to Lakewood's Harry Lang Stadium to play Issaquah at 6 p.m. Friday, with the winner playing in Saturday's 4A championship match at 4 p.m. The losers play in the third-place match at noon.
In the 1A final four at Puyallup's Sparks Stadium, Connell takes on Overlake at 2 p.m. Friday, hoping for a berth into Saturday's 2 p.m. championship against either Bush or Seattle Academy.
Friday's loser plays for third place at 10 a.m.

MOSES LAKE -- The Richland Bombers will get a jump on the football postseason tonight, playing a three-way tiebreaker with Davis and Wenatchee at Moses Lake's Lions Field.
The playoff was created after all three teams finished 3-3 in league play. Each team split their games with the other two, so there was no head-to-head advantage.
Wenatchee and Davis will start at 6 p.m., playing two eight-minute halves.

SUMNER Waitsburg-Prescott will play for its first-ever state soccer title at 4 p.m. today after beating St. George 2-1 in the 2B/1B state semifinals Friday at Sunset Chev Stadium in Sumner.
The Tigers (14-1-2), who will face Providence Classical Christian (13-0) in the championship, played St. George scoreless through the first 40 minutes, before the Dragons pulled ahead with a goal early in the second half.
But W-P scored two unanswered goals to earn the win.
