By the Herald staff

Two Mid-Columbia girls soccer programs will be playing for a shot at a state title this weekend on the west side of the state.

Kamiakin travels to Lakewood's Harry Lang Stadium to play Issaquah at 6 p.m. Friday, with the winner playing in Saturday's 4A championship match at 4 p.m. The losers play in the third-place match at noon.

In the 1A final four at Puyallup's Sparks Stadium, Connell takes on Overlake at 2 p.m. Friday, hoping for a berth into Saturday's 2 p.m. championship against either Bush or Seattle Academy.

Friday's loser plays for third place at 10 a.m.
