RICHLAND -- A Richland man was injured in a two-car accident Saturday morning on Highway 240.
Randall L. Persinger, 51, was eastbound on Highway 240 heading to eastbound Interstate 182 about 10:55 a.m. when his 1996 Nissan Maxima went off the road, overcorrected and hit a 1996 Toyota 4Runner also going east, the Washington State Patrol reported.
The driver of the other vehicle, David M. Bock, 38, of West Richland, was not hurt, the patrol said.
Persinger was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, where he was treated and released. The patrol said it believed alcohol or drugs were a factor in the accident and was investigating.

Dina K. Aguilar, 30, was driving westbound on the interstate about 5:15 p.m. in a 2009 Kia Spectra when she hit the back of a car driven by Yaroslav P. Sereda, 20, of Pasco, the Washington State Patrol reported.
Sereda's 2000 Mitsubishi Montero was pushed into the median where it rolled into the eastbound lanes of I-182. Aguilar then drove away from the scene of the accident, the patrol reported.

A 19-year-old Pasco woman was injured when she rolled her car on Highway 240 about 20 miles west of Richland, the Washington State Patrol said.
Sandra Perez was driving westbound on 240 at 8:10 a.m. Sunday when her car drifted off the road. She reportedly overcorrected and rolled her 2003 Chevrolet Blazer before stopping in the westbound lanes.
The state patrol said the cause of the accident was driving under the influence.

PROSSER -- A Grandview teen was in critical condition Friday at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland after speeding and rolling his car early that morning, according to Kadlec and the Washington State Patrol.
Martines Salomon, 18, was driving a four-door Kia at 2:37 a.m. north on Highway 221 three miles south of Prosser. Raul Guiterrez, 19, of Grandview, also was in the car.
Salomon was driving at a high rate of speed and his car left the road when he came to a curve, according to the state patrol. The car rolled several times. Both were wearing seat belts.

A Richland woman driving a stolen car was in critical condition Tuesday night after causing an early morning car crash that snarled traffic on Highway 240 in Richland.
A'Lisa D. Andersen, 42, was driving west on Highway 240 when she failed to stop at a red light at Duportail Street about 4:50 a.m., according to Washington State Patrol.
The car Andersen was driving hit a pickup driven by Matthew D. Bartlett, 28, of Richland. He was driving south on Duportail Street, headed to eastbound Highway 240, WSP reported.

A Umatilla woman was hurt Friday in a car crash on Highway 14, six miles east of Paterson.
Susana Davila Tejeda, 36, was headed west on the road when her 200 Chevrolet Blazer veered off the north side of the road and when she overcorrected the vehicle rolled, the Washington State Patrol reported.
The car ended up in the eastbound lane, sliding into a 2001 Freightliner semi-tractor driven by Marshall Lee Smith, 27, of Pasco.
