The News Recorder

A sensation in society circles was created in Walla Walla when Police Chief Kauffman and officers arrested three sons of prominent citizens, ages 12 to 14 years, for committing burglary last week in Yarnell & Rogers' cigar and confectionary store and John Anderson's grocery store. Though sons of prominent men, the consensus of opinion is that they should be dealt with according to law and justice.
