A Moses Lake driver was taken to the hospital after being rear-ended by a car while stopped at a stoplight.
Darlene Herting, 45, was stopped in the northbound lanes of Highway 17 at Yonezawa Boulevard at 4:55 p.m. Tuesday, when 19-year-old Ryan Forsman-Hoskin of Ephrata crashed into her 2002 Oldsmobile Alero, the Washington State Patrol
said.
Forsman-Hoskin was driving a 1995 Chevy Cavalier, troopers said.
Herting had neck and back injuries and was taken to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake. Forsman-Hoskin was treated at the scene for a head bump.
Troopers say the crash was caused by Forsman-Hoskin following too close and inattention.
