WALLA WALLA -- A wine auction fundraiser for Planned Parenthood of Central Washington will be held Friday at the Marcus Whitman Hotel in Walla Walla.
Proceeds from the 28th annual event will benefit Planned Parenthood's health center in Walla Walla.
The event begins at 7 p.m. with wine tasting, a silent auction, music and hors d'oeuvres. A live auction will begin at 8:30 p.m.
Tickets are $90 or $170 for a couple. Golden Tickets can be purchased for $100.
The nonprofit organization is requesting donations for the silent and live auctions to be auctioned with the wines. For information, call Mark Lee at 1-866-904-7721, ext. 8016, or email leem@ppcentwa.org.

QUINCY There will be a change at Cave B Estate Winery as its owners have scheduled an auction for their historic winery, vineyards, resort, restaurant and adjacent property near George.
The auction is scheduled for March 15 in Seattle with a suggested opening bid of $3.5 million for Cave B Inn & Spa. Options offered by owners Vince and Carol Bryan include the winery, vineyards, orchards and opportunities for a golf course, additional hospitality, residential and fractional home sites.
Despite what all is auctioned off next month, Cave B winemaker Freddy Arredondo said Sunday the brand that he's been in charge of since 2007 would continue.

Heart for the Arts, a fundraiser for the Academy of Children's Theatre, starts at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 10 at the Lampson Hangar, 5222 Stearman Ave., near the Tri-Cities Airport.

Tickets for the 33rd Tri-Cities Wine Festival, among the oldest wine events in the Pacific Northwest, are now available.
All events will be Nov. 4-5 at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick. The Tri-Cities Wine Society stages the festival, which is capped by the Saturday night public tasting of the wines judged in the competition. Results from the professional judging of Northwest wines are announced throughout the evening.
More than 100 wineries and 400 wines are expected to enter in the competition, and most will be poured for the public. It is Washington state's longest-running wine competition. Tickets for the public tasting are $70.
