EPHRATA -- Isaac Anderson rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns and caught a 45-yard touchdown pass to lead the Mustangs to a 36-17 CWAC-opening victory at Ephrata.
"Isaac had a couple of really nice runs, some big time runs," Prosser coach Benji Sonnichsen said. "He made a lot of guys miss in the open field. He had a really nice catch down the middle and finished with over 200 yard of total offense."
Prosser (1-0, 1-1) bounced back from a season-opening loss to Kamiakin last week, as Ryan Fassler finished 17-of-25 for 220 yards and three touchdowns. Danny Raap had six receptions for 67 yards and two scores.

PROSSER -- Prosser's Ryan Fassler had seven completions on nine throws for three touchdowns and 160 yards and the Mustangs built a 48-0 halftime lead and ran down the clock in a CWAC 2A thumping of visiting Wapato.

PROSSER -- Zach Umemoto ran for 160 yards and two touchdowns, Jason Hutchison threw for 222 yards and three more scores and the Kamiakin defense was up to old tricks in the season-opener for both teams at Art Fiker Stadium.
Hutchison, making his first varsity start, was 13-for-19 and hooked up with three different receivers for touchdowns. He also was picked off twice.
Kamiakin's defense, opportunistic during the Braves' run to the 3A championship game last season, turned in a pick-six when Andrew Castillo returned an interception 65 yards in the fourth quarter. The Braves also limited Prosser to just 20 rushing yards on 26 carries and 150 total yards.

GRANDVIEW -- Isaac Anderson rushed for three touchdowns and caught another as the Mustangs closed out an undefeated CWAC run at Grandview.
Anderson rushed for 108 yards on 12 carries, while Ryan Fassler threw for 176 yards and two touchdowns.
Prosser has a bye past the CWAC-GNL crossover games and will be the District 5/6/7 No. 2 seed in the state playoffs. The Mustangs will host the winner of Tuesday's East Valley (Yakima) vs. West Valley (Spokane) game.

PROSSER -- The Mustangs rallied past visiting Ellensburg at Art Fiker Stadium in a CWAC game.
Josh Lopez caught a 12-yard pass from Ryan Fassler to pull the Mustangs within 28-26 in the third quarter.
Fassler then connected with Wyatt Baker on a 24-yard pass in the fourth quarter for the winning margin.
