WAPATO -- Miguel Rivera rushed for 256 yards rushing and scored two touchdowns as Wapato defeated visiting Grandview in a CWAC game.
Derek Swearingen passed for 127 yards for the Greyhounds, and Michael Perez scored both of Grandview's touchdowns -- one on a 3-yard run and one on a 12-yard TD reception.

Grandview boys ready to make run in CWAC race
If there's one thing that Roy Garcia has learned from his lifelong association with the Grandview Greyhounds basketball program, it's this: The show must go on.
And every year, it does. This season will be no different. The Greyhounds will scrap, battle and fight the same way they have done since winning their first state title in 1989.
"We've run on the same principles ever since I got here," Garcia said. "It's about basketball IQ and toughness, and the ability to go out and play as one."

GRANDVIEW -- Jose Castilleja ran for 120 yards and three touchdowns, the last with 4:15 left in the game, to give Grandview its first win of the year.
The Greyhounds trailed 21-14 heading into the final quarter, but Michael Perez scored on a 2-yard run before Castilleja got the game-winner.
Perez finished with 98 yards rushing as Grandview rolled up 215 yards on the ground.
