RICHLAND -- Registration for the 29th annual Tri-Cities Marathon is open today and the morning of race day before Sunday's 8 a.m. start at the Shilo Inn in Richland.
Late registration for the qualifier for the Boston Marathon is $60 for individual competitors and $20 for relay team member.

RICHLAND -- The 31st Tri-Cities Marathon will begin 8 a.m. today at Shilo Inn in Richland. Last minute information packet pickup will start at 7 a.m.
Early start times are available at 6 and 7 a.m. for runners who would otherwise not expect to finish prior to the scheduled 1 p.m. closure.
The chip-timed marathon is on a flat and fast 26.2 mile USTAF-certified course along the Columbia River and over the I-182, cable and Blue bridges and is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.

Registration deadline for the Lampson Cable Bridge Run is Wednesday.
Registration on or before Monday is $17 with a shirt, and $12 without a shirt. Registration on Tuesday or Wednesday is $27 with a shirt and $22 without a shirt. There is no race-day registration.
The annual Lampson Cable Bridge Run will begin at 9 a.m. Dec. 17 on the Kennewick side of the Cable Bridge.

RICHLAND -- The Indian Summer Half-Marathon and 5K races will be held today at Columbia Point Marina in Richland.
Runners will begin at the marina, continue along the Columbia River Trail through Howard Amon Park and Leslie Groves and then turn around at the halfway mark just past the WSU Tri-Cities campus.
The half-marathon event is scheduled to begin 8 a.m. and the 5K event will follow at 8:10 a.m.
