Manzo had earlier given the Grizzlies a 14-12 lead with a 12-yard TD run, but Davis -- trying to end a 58-game league losing streak -- regained the lead on a 31-yard TD pass from Deion Wright to Cooper Kupp.

SPOKANE -- The Pirates once again won't be going to the state playoffs, as they were blitzed from the start at Joe Albi Stadium.
Mead led 21-0 in the early going, and romped its way to an easy victory and a berth in the Class 4A state playoffs.
Davis threw four interceptions and never could get its high-powered offense untracked. Deion Wright was 12-for-25 for 140 yards and two touchdowns, but he also threw three picks. Austin Wagner added 160 yards rushing and a score for the Pirates.

David Trimble had six receptions for 105 yards as Davis bounced back from an ugly home win against Sunnyside last week.

HERMISTON -- The Pirates and Bulldogs showed up for a football game, and a track meet broke out. The teams combined for 1,092 yards of offense as Davis pulled out a nonleague win at Hermiston.
Deion Wright completed 18 of 28 passes for 510 yards and seven touchdowns to lead the Pirates, while Bobby Adams rushed for 260 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs.
Cooper Kupp led all Davis receivers with 243 yards and four TDs on nine catches. Carlos Vijarro added 111 yards and a score on three catches.
