Members of Dayspring Ministries of Kennewick visit inmates at Two Rivers Correctional Institution in Umatilla. Their visits bring hope to men in a dark world. Inmate Daniel Kirkland, 40, sums up what this means. "It's a good feeling to know that the things we've done that got us in here, that the volunteers don't look at us as throwaways, as lost causes. It helps us fight the battles. Some of us might not leave here, but that's not all there is. If I have to spend my life here, I can help make sure somebody else doesn't come back (once they're released)."
