She won the 100-yard butterfly in a state-qualifying time of 59.97 seconds, and also took third in the 200 IM at the Mukilteo Invite.

Brianna Casper, Sr., Connell
She scored four goals in a 6-1 win over Highland, then scored another goal and added three assists in a 4-0 win over Warden.

Israel Manzo, Soph., Sunnyside
He kicked a game-winning 27-yard field goal to beat Pasco, capping a day in which he rushed for 82 yards also caught a TD pass.

Krysta Olberding, Sr., Richland
She had 31 assists and 12 digs in a CBBN sweep of Pasco and 29 assists, nine aces and seven digs in a sweep of Chiawana.

Marisa Vander Malle, Sr., Pasco
She placed second in a CBBN meet, then won the Bulldog Invite by nearly 2 1/2 minutes at the Big Cross course on Road 36.

College update: Wodrich, Swanson earn all-GNAC honors
Two Tri-Citians were named first-team Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's volleyball all-stars last week.
Lindsey Wodrich and Shelby Swanson, who both play for Seattle Pacific University, were both honored this week.
Wodrich, a senior from Richland High, was a unanimous and repeat selection at outside hitter. She led 21-7 SPU with 394 kills and had 288 digs.

Kamiakin grad wins Big Sky soccer award
CHENEY -- Eastern Washington University forward Whitney Brannan was named the Big Sky women's soccer player of the week after scoring two goals on 11 shots and collecting two assists as the Eagles split a pair of conference matches.
Brannan, a Kamiakin graduate, broke two EWU career records Saturday -- collecting her 45th career point and 140th shot -- in a 3-0 win over Weber State.
She also holds the career record in goals (17) and assists (11).
