Following the fire department on its run Monday evening, which was, by the way, just a practice run, a score of autoists found themselves encircled by hose and all received tickets to appear in court Tuesday morning. It was the first effort at enforcement of the ordinance as announced last week in regard to following too closely the fire truck, or running over the hose, etc. A talk by Judge Jones and fines of $1 each were levied.
