She had 55 kills, 28 blocks and nine aces in five wins, including two league matches, and then led Prep to the Jaguar Invite title.

She scored a goal in a CBBN win over Moses Lake, then had two goals and two assists in a CBBN win over Eastmont.

Dyrel Whitby, Sr., Connell
He rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns, and at middle linebacker had 11 tackles and an interception in a win over River View

Stephanie Tixier, Fr., Hanford
She won the 50- and 100-yard freestyles at separate meets in state times and also anchored two state-qualifying relay teams.

Ethan Tonnemaker, Jr., Royal
He won the Connell Invite, running a career-best 16:27 on the 5-kilometer course, and led the Knights to the 1A team title.

MOSCOW, Idaho -- For the second time in her career and the first time this season, Idaho sophomore outside hitter Allison Walker has earned Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week honors.
Walker, an Othello High School graduate, helped the Vandals to back-to-back three-set wins over Eastern Washington and Utah State during the week, as she averaged 6.67 kills, 4.83 digs and 6.92 points per set while hitting .202.
Walker extended her double-double streak to six matches as she finished with a season-high 24 kills and a career-best 17 digs at Eastern Washington and had 16 kills and 12 digs against defending WAC tournament champion Utah State.

Richland's Wodrich leads SPU volleyball to win
SEATTLE -- Richland High graduate Lindsey Wodrich had 12 kills and tied her career high with five service aces -- including her 100th in a Seattle Pacific volleyball uniform -- as the 24th-ranked Falcons took over sole possession of first place in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference by beating Montana State Billings 3-0 on Monday night.
Scores in Brougham Pavilion were 25-23, 25-15, 25-22.
Wodrich tied her previous career high of five aces, which she set at Alaska Anchorage as a freshman in 2008.
