Richland Becky's Household Consignment, a 7,000-square-foot store in the Uptown mall, is having its grand opening today, Oct. 1.
The stores inventory includes an array of items from homes, shops, garages, offices and farms.
Its open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday and from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday. The store is at 1331 George Washington Way, Richland. For more information, call 947-3774

An appeal to Richland church-goers not to buy groceries on Sunday was being made by the Richland Ministerial Association. They stated that church-goers who buy groceries on their way home from church encourage the stores to remain open on the Lord's Day.
Hippies moves to Kennewick
Hippies moves to Kennewick
A former car showroom on Kennewick's Columbia Drive has been transformed into a bright, lime green shop with giant colorful flowers.
Hippies, which opened in Richland in 2006, has moved to 719 W. Columbia Drive.
The store, which offers everything from tie-dye wear to hookahs, opened at its new location a few days before Thanksgiving. Tammy Adams, who owns the store with her husband Tim, said they plan to hold a grand opening sometime soon.
