YAKIMA -- Trent Brown threw for a pair of touchdowns, but his three rushing TDs keyed Kennewick's victory over Davis in CBBN Columbia play.
Brown first scored on a 10-yard runs and later on a pair of 1-yard rushes.
Zak Albertin also scored from two yards out as the Lions scored 22 unanswered points in the third to break a 19-19 halftime tie and hand the Pirates their 56th straight league loss.

SPOKANE -- The Pirates once again won't be going to the state playoffs, as they were blitzed from the start at Joe Albi Stadium.
Mead led 21-0 in the early going, and romped its way to an easy victory and a berth in the Class 4A state playoffs.
Davis threw four interceptions and never could get its high-powered offense untracked. Deion Wright was 12-for-25 for 140 yards and two touchdowns, but he also threw three picks. Austin Wagner added 160 yards rushing and a score for the Pirates.

WALLA WALLA -- Austin Wright passed for 361 yards and four touchdowns to keep Davis undefeated at 5-0 with a CBBN 4A win over Walla Walla at Borleske Field.
The Blue Devils took a 7-0 first quarter lead on Dakota Turner's 29-yard touchdown pass to Moe Handcox, but Wright responded with touchdown passes fo David Trimble, Chris Chapman and Cooper Kupp to take a 21-7 lead into halftime.
