A Kennewick couple may not have season tickets to Seattle Seahawks, but they hope to be the football team's ultimate fans.
Brandon and Carla Baker are among 10 finalists competing for that honor -- and the ultimate prize of appearing in a Budweiser beer commercial.
Brandon Baker said they try to get tickets to Seahawks games three or four times a year. And when they attended this year's season opener against the Oakland Raiders, they mugged for the camera in hopes of winning tickets to another game.
Judges narrowed the choices to 10 and the public votes for the favorite. The winners will get tickets to an upcoming game and may get featured in a Bud Light commercial.
To check it out go to www.seahawks.com then click on "Fans" and then on "Contests & Promotions."
The Bakers are No. 5.

Dust Devils playoff tickets to go on sale tonight
The first time the Tri-City Dust Devils reached the Northwest League playoffs in 2007, they did it on the final day of the season.
As a result, the Dust Devils front office had less than 24 hours to promote ticket sales for Game 1 the next day at what is now Gesa Stadium.
This season, Tri-City clinched the first-half East Division title three weeks ago, making things a little easier for the staff to promote ticket sales for Games 2 and 3 at Gesa Stadium on Sept. 5-6.

Feds sue Hanford workers over kickback scheme
Three purchasing agents have been sued by the federal government for allegedly accepting gift cards and game tickets to encourage them to buy goods from a Hanford supplier.
Amy Hay, Patricia Hall and Michael Stone were among a number of Fluor Hanford material coordinators, or purchasers, who together accepted more than $40,000 in kickbacks from Fast Pipe and Supply and its owner, according to a complaint filed Monday in Eastern Washington Federal District Court.
At the same time, they and others spent $3.9 million on purchases from Fast Pipe, charging them to federal credit cards, called purchase cards or P-cards at the Hanford nuclear reservation.

Coug fans open checkbooks after hiring Leach
PULLMAN -- The day after Mike Leach was hired as Washington State's football coach, the apathy athletic director Bill Moos perceived in the Cougars' fan base has seemingly dissipated, replaced by an interest that's spread as far south as Lubbock, Texas.
When Moos relieved Paul Wulff of his duties earlier this week, he cited that fan apathy as the trigger factor, saying it was his hope to provide a spark by changing leadership.
That spark has turned into a West Texas brush fire.
