PILOT ROCK -- Chance Larreau ran in a 63-yard touchdown and Dalton Larreau pulled off a 24-yard TD run as Waitsburg-Prescott chewed through the Rockets defense to take a nonleague road victory in Oregon.
"I thought the O-Line kicked it up a notch from a week ago," Cardinals coach Jeff Bartlow said. "That was the key to our victory. It really gave us a great opportunity to score."

PRESCOTT -- Zach Bartlow rushed for a pair of first-quarter touchdowns as Waitsburg-Prescott led 40-14 at halftime and cruised over visiting Kettle Falls in the first round of the state playoffs.
Bartlow also three for three touchdowns and finished with 221 total yards.

D'Marcus Bowie hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to send visiting Pilot Rock to a 46-43 nonleague victory over Waitsburg-Prescott.
Zach Bartlow -- fresh off winning the state football title Saturday -- had 14 points and 20 rebounds, but it wasn't enough for the Cardinals in their season opener.
The Cardinals had only practiced once and were rusty, but nearly pulled out the victory.

WAITSBURG -- Zach Bartlow's 4-yard run in the third quarter proved to be the difference as Waitsburg-Prescott edged visiting Dayton in the Southeast 2B contest.
The Bulldogs scored in the first-quarter on a 3-yard touchdown pass from Hayden Fullerton to Wyatt Frame but missed the extra point.
