TC Prep's Hylden wins Richland meet
RICHLAND -- John Hylden of Tri-Cities Prep and Heather Siegel of St. John-Endicott were at the top of their fields Wednesday in a District 9 cross country meet at Johnson Park in Richland.
Hylden finished the 3.1-mile race in 17 minutes, 58.23 seconds, and the Jaguars stocked the top 5 to take first-place place at the event. TC Prep's Joseph Ghirardo was second overall with a time of 17:59.20.

COLLEGE PLACE -- Jameson Pederson had a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Briar Westerfield had 13 points for the Tri-Cities Prep boys, but a 28-14 first quarter deficit did no favors for the Jaguars in a 67-46 Southeast 2B road loss to Walla Walla Valley Academy on Saturday night.
