Welcome to the visitor's dressing room

One of the worst rooms in the Toyota Center the last few years was the visitor's dressing room (which actually is two rooms).

Not any more.

At their own expense, the American made a few upgrades for visiting teams, installing carpet tiles and shower tiles. The owners of the building ponied up and painted the walls and new stalls are coming soon -- on the Americans' dime.

I got a tour of the upgrades Wednesday, and having seen the rooms before in their tattered state, I think incoming teams will appreciate the effort.

GM Bob Tory said it was a matter of courtesy to the teams that use the dressing room.
