WALLA WALLA -- Drew Reinland, who will be a senior this fall at Walla Walla High School, fired a 2-under-par 70 to beat defending champion Rob Broadhead by one stroke at Veterans Memorial Golf Course to win the All-City Golf Championship.
Reinland finished at 138, 6-under par, for the two-day tournament.

It is called the Canyon Lakes Classic, and it’s presented by Golf Today Magazine Northwest.
“A fun golf events for players of all abilities. No handicap required to play,” is how the four-person scramble tournament is billed.

A new club, Columbia River Disc Golf Club, is seeking members to play disc golf in the Tri-Cities.
The object of the game is to throw a disc golf , which looks like a Frisbee, into the target, typically a steel basket over which chains hang, in the fewest number of throws.
Anyone is welcome to attend a 2 p.m. Saturday meeting at Applebee's on Columbia Center Boulevard in Kennewick. Organizers hope to set a date for the first disc golf event at the meeting.

QUINCY There will be a change at Cave B Estate Winery as its owners have scheduled an auction for their historic winery, vineyards, resort, restaurant and adjacent property near George.
The auction is scheduled for March 15 in Seattle with a suggested opening bid of $3.5 million for Cave B Inn & Spa. Options offered by owners Vince and Carol Bryan include the winery, vineyards, orchards and opportunities for a golf course, additional hospitality, residential and fractional home sites.
Despite what all is auctioned off next month, Cave B winemaker Freddy Arredondo said Sunday the brand that he's been in charge of since 2007 would continue.

ST. JOHN -- Asotin's Chase Teigen led the boys and Victoria Nunez of Tri-Cities Prep led the girls at the District 9 league meet Wednesday in St. John.
Teigen finished the 5,000-meter varsity race in 15 minutes, 37 seconds and Waitsburg-Prescott's Seth Deal (15:51) and TC Prep's Nick Lumetta (15:59) filled the top three slots.
