Some of the Tri-Cities most talented youths will have a free concert Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Battelle Auditorium in Richland.
The Polyglot string quartet includes Richland High students Brian Chou and Susan Bengtson, along with Hanford High students Matthew Hu and Curtis Lan. The quartet is giving their last performance as a group, as Chou and Lan will be leaving to attend UW in Seattle later this month.
The concert is free but donations are appreciated.

On Sept. 24, the hypnotic sounds of classical guitarist Petar Jankovic will kick off Camerata Musica's 2011-12 season.
Jankovic is a renowned musician who conducts classical guitar workshops and concerts all over the world when he isn't teaching at the Indiana University School of Music, where he also earned his masters degree in music.
He was just 8 years old when he began playing the guitar while growing up in Serbia. He earned a degree in classical guitar at the Music Academy in Belgrade.

Tennessee quartet to perform in Pasco
A gospel concert is Oct. 7 featuring the music of the Triumphant Quartet from Tennessee.
The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. at Faith Assembly of God Church, 1800 N. Road 72 in Pasco.
Admission is $15 in advance or $18 at the door. Kids 12 and younger are free. Tickets are available at the church.

Baltimore trio brings classical sound to Mid-Columbia
The Poulenc Trio musicians are known worldwide as masters of classical and contemporary literature that transcends into their music.
The group, based in Baltimore, Md., has performed in Italy, Russia, New York and Washington D.C., and this weekend they bring their elegant sound to the Community Concert organizations in the Lower Valley and Tri-Cities.
The trio is the first of four concerts in the Lower Valley Community Concert season and starts at 3 p.m. Nov. 20 in the auditorium at Sunnyside High School.
