Jr. Bandits win again at Northwest regional

The Kennewick Bandits defeated Powell, Wyo., 24-7 in seven innings Saturday in the semifinals of the Pacific Northwest AA American Legion regionals at Oquirrh Park in Kearns, Utah.

The Bandits face Laurel, Mont., a 23-3 winner over Fairbanks, Alaska, at 5 p.m. today, with the winner reaching the championship round.

"Anything we hit, we hit hard all night long," said Kennewick coach Dave Price.

Ty Jackson drove in five runs and Mike McAdie added four RBIs to highlight the offense, while pitchers Julian Rojas and Adam Sanders combined to scatter eight hits.
