EAST WENATCHEE -- A trio of Richland High golfers qualified for next week's Washington Junior Golf Association state tournament in Bellevue.
Kristin Strankman led a 1-2-3 Bombers finish in the girls age 14-15 division with rounds of 80 and 82 on Monday at Highlander Golf Club in East Wenatchee, followed by Mary McDonald (81-88) and Hope Neidhold (93-84).
Hanford junior-to-be Scott Kim won the boys 16-17 division at 3-under 141.
Southridge's Nick Atkin won the boys 14-15 at 2-over 146.
Kennewick's Catherine Warner won the girls 12-13.
Jalayne Martinez of Pasco won the girls 8-11.
