Has anyone seen the size of the TR Masterson apartment complex going in on the corner of Canyon and Steptoe streets? It feels as though you have turned into a street at the bottom of a deep canyon, with the sheer canyon walls rising into the sky and blotting out the sun.
The city of Richland has promised us that this apartment complex will not increase traffic. I have driven these streets many times and I know how dangerous the intersection of Canyon and Steptoe already is. The actions taken by the Richland City Council in regard to this development are nothing short of criminal. Sooner or later, there is going to be a traffic fatality at this intersection. Who will you hold responsible?
