SPOKANE -- Professional Corey Prugh of Manito Country Club has a five-stroke lead after two rounds of the Rosauers Open Invitational at Indian Canyon Golf Course in Spokane.
Prugh shot a second straight round of 63, giving him a 126 heading into today's final round.
Wenatchee amateur Nick Ellis, who plays for WSU and set a course record of 59 at Walla Walla Veterans Memorial on June 30, is second with a 131.
Tacoma's Chris Griffin and Tim Feenstra of Broadmoor are third with 132.
A number of Mid-Columbians are also playing in the tournament, including Jason Aichele of Meadow Springs, who is tied for 14th at 136.
Canyon Lakes amateur Kevin Tucker, who also plays for WSU, is tied for 48th at 141.
Sunnyside grad Adam Syverson, now at Indian Canyon, is also tied for 48th at 141.
Walla Walla Country Club's Brady Sharp and Horn Rapids amateur Ryan Dahl of Richland are tied for 83rd at 145.

Ruby Weaver, 75, of Walla Walla, was driving east near Benton City at 10:14 a.m. and fell asleep, said the Washington State Patrol.
Her car drove off the road and she overcorrected, rolling the car, said the WSP.
