U.S. Senior Open tickets available at Fred Meyer

SAMMAMISH, Wash. - Officials for the 2010 U.S. Senior Open announced today that tickets for the tournament at Sahalee are available at all 129 Fred Meyer stores in the Northwest.

The championship also announced the "USGA Major Offer" has been extended through Aug. 3. The "USGA Major Offer" enables ticket buyers for the 2010 U.S. Senior Open the opportunity to purchase tickets to the 2015 U.S. Open held at Tacoma's Chambers Bay before they are made available to the public.

The U.S. Open has sold out for 23 consecutive years and 2015 marks the first time the championship will be contested in the Pacific Northwest.

A 2010 U.S. Senior Open season pass is $150, which includes one ticket for each day of the championship providing grounds access. The Trophy Club Pass ($250) includes one ticket for each day of the championship and access the Trophy Club tent on the 18th fairway.

On Aug. 4, daily grounds tickets will be available for the practice and championship rounds. Championship round tickets (Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday) will be available for $45 per day and practice round tickets (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday) for $20 per day.

All tickets include free parking and free shuttle transportation to the admission gate. Throughout the week of the championship, children ages 17 and under receive free admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Kids also receive front-row seating in all on-course grandstands.
