Grandview police are investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy Friday evening.
Police were called about an "unresponsive" toddler around 5:30 p.m. to a home in the 200 block of Pleasant Avenue, police said.
Officers administered CPR until medics arrived.
The boy was declared dead at Sunnyside Community Hospital, police said.
The Yakima County coroner responded to the hospital
No additional information was released about the boy, whose name or the circumstances of his death was not released.

Ryder Joseph Morrison died in surgery after suffering a head injury at his home June 22.
Hansens issued the final death certificate Friday and listed Ryder's cause of death as abusive head trauma.
