Here's a reminder that if you're going to want to play golf in the Tri-Cities over the next few days, your options will be limited.
The Washington state high school boys and girls golf tournaments are being held Wednesday and Thursday throughout the Tri-Cities.
In addition, almost all courses will hold practice rounds starting at noon and 1 p.m. today for the high schoolers.
The 4A boys tournament will be held at Kennewick's Canyon Lakes, while the 4A girls will play at Pasco's Sun Willows.
The 3A boys tournament will be held at Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland, while the 3A girls tourney is at Horn Rapids in Richland.
Both the 1A boys and girls will play their tournaments at Columbia Point, and the 2B/1B tournaments for both boys and girls will be held at the Tri-City Country Club in Kennewick.
The only state tournaments being held outside the Tri-Cities are the 2A boys and girls. They will be played at Apple Tree in Yakima.

In the meantime, I've been enjoying my time catching up to a lot of the area coaches and chatting basketball with them. We really do have some terrific coaches around the Tri-Cities. Unfortunately, that sometimes gets taken for granted.
