TUALATIN Led by senior Richole Berger, the Hermiston girls tennis team won its third straight team title at the Oregon 5A championships at Tualatin Hills Tennis Center.
Berger, who has three state doubles titles, won the singles crown Saturday with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Katie Edwards of Century.
Berger, headed to the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the fall, finished her high school career with a 114-2 record, including 27-0 this year.
The Bulldogs finished with 12 points in the team race, followed by Corvallis (9) and Bend (8).

Hermiston coach Curt Berger already knew he had a good tournament team -- how can you not with the likes of Joey Delgado and nephew Tyler Berger in the lineup, as well as the last four Oregon 5A state wrestling titles.
But on a long and grinding Day 1 of the Best of the West at Pasco High, the longtime Bulldogs coach found out he has a pretty good dual team as well.
Hermiston finished runner-up in the dual portion of the Best of the West for the second consecutive season, losing 41-31 to Caldwell, Idaho, in the championship Thursday.
