The Prosser Mustangs placed six offensive starters on the All-CWAC first team and Othello senior running back Caleb Garza was named the offensive MVP in a vote of coaches.

Grandview boys ready to make run in CWAC race
If there's one thing that Roy Garcia has learned from his lifelong association with the Grandview Greyhounds basketball program, it's this: The show must go on.
And every year, it does. This season will be no different. The Greyhounds will scrap, battle and fight the same way they have done since winning their first state title in 1989.
"We've run on the same principles ever since I got here," Garcia said. "It's about basketball IQ and toughness, and the ability to go out and play as one."

Prosser sewed up the No. 1 seed and a bye into the state playoffs.
The CWAC No. 2 seed also gets a bye into the state playoffs, but that team is up in the air between Othello and Ellensburg.
Those two teams meet Thursday, Nov. 3, in Othello.
