My kids have both loved Goodnight Moon since they were tiny. My daughter requests it multiple times every evening. My son comes up with new things to say "Good night" to. Tonight, in typical 4-year-old (nearly 5-year-old) humor, it was "Good Night" to underwear.
I would never suggest that anyone redo Goodnight Moon from its original 1947 version. But I cant help but laugh a little each night when my kids try to find the telephone.
The closest thing I can find to a phone is that, my son says as he points to the Bunnys comb.
I usually try to convince him it is the big black thing with a dial and an earpiece and mouthpiece by the bed.
But they dont believe me.
