Prep golf: Ellis takes medalist honors as Wa-Hi takes team title

WENATCHEE -- Spencer Ellis of Eastmont shot 3-under 69 at Wenatchee Country Club to earn medalist honors and Walla Walla scored 306 to lead all teams Monday afternoon at the CBBN all-league pod.

Greg Prins (75), Jake Hanson (75) and Drew Reinland (76) each finished in the Top 10 for the Blue Devils.

Riley Hayfield shot 3-over to lead the Kamiakin team to a third-place finish with 319 points, and Josh Harvey of Hanford (327) and Jack Eden of Richland (335) both shot 78s to to earn top-10 finishes and lead their respective teams.

Other team leaders for the day included Kennewick's Sean Prue (80), Pasco's Samson Martinez (81) and Moses Lake's Colby Ragan (80).
