McDonald leads Richland girls

Led by Mary McDonald's second-place finish and Brittany Zier's tie for third, the Richland girls wrapped up the CBBN title by winning the fifth and final pod match Wednesday at Black Rock Creek.

McDonald finished third in the season overall standings despite not playing in one of the five matches. Eisenhower senior Christine Cook won the individual title.

The Braves won the team title at the third annual event with a 311 total, eight shots better than Southridge. ... The final CBBN boys pod match is Monday at Wenatchee Country Club.
