Hayfield, Gleed share medalist honors as Kamiakin wins Tri-City title

KENNEWICK -- Kamiakin won the Tri-City High School Championships behind the efforts of Riley Hayfield and Rick Gleed, who each shot 2-over 74 at Canyon Lakes to share medalist honors with Austin Westphal of rival Southridge.

Team scores--Kamiakin 311, Southridge 319, Hanford 328, Pasco 341, Richland 362, Kennewick 389. Top 10--1, (tie) Austin Westphal (S), Riley Hayfield (Ka) and Rick Gleed (Ka) 76; 4, (tie) Josh Harvey (H), Jordan Bohlander (Ka) and Justin Sprengel (S) 78; 7, Alex Cantu (H) 79; 8, Sean Prue (Ke) 80; 9, (tie) Nick Atkin (S), Jack Tumlinson (Ka) and Jack Eiden (R) 81.
