Chiawana beats ML for 4A wrestling title
The Chiawana Riverhawks haven't been around very long, but judging from their record, they are building quite the tradition in wrestling.
The Riverhawks won their second CBBN 4A title in three years Tuesday night with a 36-34 road victory over Moses Lake, last year's state runner-up.
"Our kids, our staff, the parents have worked extremely hard over the last three years to build this program," Chiawana coach Jack Anderson said.

KENNEWICK Playing at home for the first time this season, the Kamiakin boys basketball team got off to a dream start.
The Braves rattled off the game's first 17 points en route to a 73-29 rout of Moses Lake in nonleague action Saturday.
"The student section does a great job of pumping us up," Kamiakin's Justin Pedley said. "And we hit our first few shots and did a good job from there."
