SPOKANE -- Richland's Troy Zuroske defeated Ethan Vaughn of Mead 6-4, 6-2 to win the No. 1 boys singles title at the Inland Empire tournament in Spokane.
The Bombers also won titles at No. 2 boys singles (Taylor Dickey) and No. 2 boys doubles (Nick Colby and Tyler Mehlenbach) en route to a second-place finish in the team standings.
Kamiakin's state champion girls doubles team of Ali Welch and Demi Warner beat Carrie Barber-Macy McLauchling of Ferris 6-1, 6-1, in the No. 1 division final.
