Tennis roundup: Kamiakin doubles advance in Boise

BOISE, Idaho -- Kamiakin's No. 1 girls doubles team Ali Welch and Demi Warner survived the first day of play at the Capital Invite in Boise and reached today's championship round.

Kamiakin's No. 2 boys doubles team of Jason Senqkara and Senturan Thevathasan, and No. 3 boys singles player Caleb Shannon also are in the championship round.

Hermiston advanced six into the championship round.
