Walla Walla man dies in collision near Pendleton
WALLA WALLA -- A Walla Walla man died in a collision east of Pendleton on Friday afternoon.
According to Oregon State Police, Lucas J. Kralman, 36, was driving a 2010 Dodge pickup westbound on Interstate 84 about 13 miles east of Pendleton when he struck the rear of a semi trailer pulled by Paul M. Ojinaga, 46, of Ranchyo Cucamonga, Calif.
Kralman was reported to have died at the scene; Ojinaga was not injured. Troopers reported there was no evidence of hard braking by the pickup before the crash and that they are continuing to investigate the cause.
